Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nichlas Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steroid Freak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen shoots in and drives through. Freak sprawls well.

Freak clinches.
Jensen tries to pull guard but Freak holds him up against the cage and eventually Jensen drops back down to his feet.
Freak has a couple of punches blocked by Jensen.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Freak shoots in looking for a takedown. Jensen tries to sprawl out of it but Freak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jensen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jensen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jensen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Freak walks away with a smile on his face. Jensen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Freak wants to stand up but Jensen has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jensen flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jensen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Freak stacks Jensen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Freak!
Jensen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jensen tries to get out of the position.

Jensen is trying to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jensen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Freak is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jensen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Freak's back instead.
Freak finds himself mounted whilst avoiding strikes.

Jensen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Freak has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Freak!

I would just about give that final round to Steroid Freak.
