Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wild One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Lansarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rico Lansarez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Lansarez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One slips a jab and a cross from Lansarez.
Lansarez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lansarez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lansarez throws a nice looking combination but One bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lansarez scores with a one two! One had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
One goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Good leg kick by Lansarez there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lansarez misses with a wild combination.
One has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
One bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
One is putting a hurting on Lansarez here, landing some big shots from side control.
Lansarez is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Lansarez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with One. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Lansarez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lansarez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
One slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
One pushing down on Lansarez's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
One frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Lansarez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
