Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andru Albrecht (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Scarpone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albrecht comes to the cage accompanied by No Sunshine by DMX. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albrecht closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scarpone did well to prevent Albrecht getting side control.
Albrecht is looking to advance position but Scarpone won't allow it.

Scarpone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Albrecht is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Scarpone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Albrecht's back instead.

Scarpone drops back looking for a leg! Albrecht is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Albrecht manages to kick Scarpone off! Scarpone jumps back into Albrecht's guard.
