Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick LaRosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brock Lesnar will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick LaRosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lesnar decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
LaRosa looks like he's trying to stand up.
Lesnar controlling the pace. LaRosa is trying to control but can't.
LaRosa won't allow Lesnar to pass to mount. LaRosa is not content to let Lesnar control the position. LaRosa is looking for a sweep. Lesnar is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lesnar decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. LaRosa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaRosa moves in looking to clinch but Lesnar pushes him off. LaRosa with a lazy takedown attempt and Lesnar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. LaRosa tries for a takedown but Lesnar circles away easily and Lesnar counters with a low kick, right behind LaRosa 's knee. LaRosa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - LaRosa lands in his opponent's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lesnar can do anything to dispel that myth. LaRosa wants to stand and escape but instead Lesnar has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. LaRosa is breathing heavily. Lesnar stands up and waves to LaRosa to follow him. A punch combination from LaRosa misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar feints and as LaRosa raises his hands in defense, Lesnar changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lesnar forces his way into half guard. LaRosa trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Lesnar manages to pass to mount!
This has been an exciting period of action! LaRosa wants to control but Lesnar is having none of it. Lesnar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! LaRosa wants to hold on but Lesnar pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaRosa tries to reverse the position but Lesnar maintains control. Lesnar controlling the pace for now. LaRosa is trying to escape the mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. LaRosa tries to buck Lesnar off but he can't manage it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. LaRosa can't escape the position.
LaRosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lesnar working the ground and pound effectively.
Lesnar tries to control but LaRosa wriggling away. LaRosa wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
LaRosa wants to clinch but Lesnar slips to the side and Lesnar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. LaRosa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lesnar walks away with a smile on his face. LaRosa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lesnar fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. LaRosa dodges the punch combination from Lesnar.
LaRosa has his takedown stuffed and Lesnar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lesnar. LaRosa looking for a sweep. Not yet LaRosa, not yet. Lesnar sitting in guard here, content to control. LaRosa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lesnar's guard. LaRosa won't allow Lesnar to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaRosa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lesnar keeping moving, preventing LaRosa from controlling successfully. LaRosa wanted to stand there but Lesnar had control of the position. LaRosa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lesnar is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lesnar is trying to control the position but LaRosa postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. LaRosa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lesnar sprawls well. Lesnar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. LaRosa gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick LaRosa. That's going to take a lot out of him. LaRosa tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Lesnar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. LaRosa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lesnar just stands there and leans against the cage. A frustrated look appears on LaRosa's face as he tries to break the clinch. Lesnar pulls LaRosa into guard.
Lesnar is trying to control the position but LaRosa postures up. Lesnar scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaRosa throws a right and a left that Lesnar avoids nicely. LaRosa stuffs the takedown. Rick LaRosa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. LaRosa wants to clinch and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Lesnar wants to lay and pray for a moment but LaRosa keeps working. LaRosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lesnar on the ground. Lesnar seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! LaRosa wants to hold on but Lesnar pushes him away. Lesnar sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lesnar goes for an armbar but he's not got it… LaRosa turns into him and now he's in Lesnar's guard.
LaRosa wants to pass the guard but Lesnar is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brock Lesnar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

and LaRosa counters with a takedown into side control. Lesnar manages to get back to half guard. LaRosa moves nicely into side control. Lesnar wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! LaRosa is looking to take a break and control but Lesnar is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lesnar is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. LaRosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Lesnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. LaRosa fails to land the takedown. LaRosa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lesnar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lesnar circles away from the clinch attempt and Lesnar counters with a nice double leg into guard. Lesnar looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lesnar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

LaRosa shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lesnar is trying to defend but LaRosa finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. LaRosa tries to stand and escape but Lesnar is controlling the position. LaRosa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Rick LaRosa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Brock Lesnar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. LaRosa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick LaRosa showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lesnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
