The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dostojevskij tries a head kick but it misses.
Dostojevskij swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dostojevskij on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rage taking a breather here. Rage tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rage has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dostojevskij tries to escape but Rage is in control. Rage thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Rage misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Dostojevskij tries to buck Rage off but Rage is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rage trying to control the position but Dostojevskij is working away. Dostojevskij is trying to get back to his feet. Rage lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Sloppy strikes there by Rage. Dostojevskij tries to buck Rage off but Rage is having none of it. Rage lands a few punches from side control. Rage throws a strike aimed at the side of Dostojevskij 's head but Dostojevskij avoids it well. Dostojevskij is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Rage off and has taken his back! Dostojevskij really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rage. Rage trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Rage is trying to improve his position. Dostojevskij wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rage keeps working. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dostojevskij is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Rage is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dostojevskij throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dostojevskij gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Dostojevskij is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dostojevskij is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rage wants to control but Dostojevskij is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dostojevskij throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dostojevskij tries to stand and escape but Rage is controlling the position. Rage is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Rage is thwarting Dostojevskij 's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Rage cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Rage is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dostojevskij can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
