Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akiro Hisao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakie Chan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chan has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Jakie Chan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akiro Hisao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jakie Chan! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hisao fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hisao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chan tries to avoid it but Hisao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chan to the ground. Chan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chan slaps away a takedown attempt from Hisao, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hisao looks to land a combination. Chan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jakie Chan has been cut. Chan looks gassed! Hisao doesn't manage to clinch there - Chan circles away.
Hisao shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chan pinned against the cage. Chan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akiro Hisao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Chan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hisao fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Chan sprawls well initially but Hisao persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hisao seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Chan gets full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hisao controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hisao has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hisao prevents Chan from escaping the position. Chan seems a little lost for a moment, as Hisao dominates the positioning. Hisao stands up and we're back to a striking position. A left lands for Hisao. Hisao tries to clinch but Chan moves away and Chan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Hisao lands with a nice body punch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hisao is defended easily by Chan. Hisao throws a sloppy head kick and Chan moves out of range easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hisao tries to clinch but Chan moves out of range. Hisao shoots in and drives through. Chan sprawls well. Chan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hisao has a takedown stuffed. Hisao misses with a takedown attempt so Chan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Chan stopping the sweep attempt from Hisao. Chan pushes down on Hisao's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chan escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hisao looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Chan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hisao. That did some damage! Hisao fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice takedown defense from Chan. No joy for Hisao on that attempt. Hisao dives in and grabs Chan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Chan pushes down on Hisao's head and hops out. Hisao gets caught flat footed, as Chan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chan preventing the sweep. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hisao is looking to sweep but instead, Chan has passed into half guard.
Hisao is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Akiro Hisao will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jakie Chan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Chan thows a body shot but no joy. Hisao misses with a takedown attempt and Chan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hisao! Hisao is desperately trying to improve his position but Chan has a good base and remains in mount. Hisao tries to lock up and control but Chan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Chan throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Hisao knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chan on the ground. Chan prevents Hisao from getting the reversal. Chan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan throwing strikes here but Hisao is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Hisao tries to hold on but Chan postures up. Hisao is looking to get to half guard. Chan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hisao is looking to escape. Hisao squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Chan looking to finish with strikes here!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hisao holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Chan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan wants to control the pace but Hisao is squirming around nicely. Hisao tries to lock up and control but Chan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hisao is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Chan tries to control but Hisao wriggling away. Hisao holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Chan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hisao sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Hisao actively working from the bottom here. Chan trying to mount his opponent but Hisao defends it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hisao is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jakie Chan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jakie Chan's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chan wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akiro Hisao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hisao fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hisao tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hisao is out of range and Chan settles back down. Hisao misses with a takedown and Chan moves into the clinch. Chan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hisao is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hisao tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chan just stands there and leans against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Hisao doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Chan. Hisao is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chan moves into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hisao trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Chan wants to stand up but Hisao is controlling him. Chan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hisao drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hisao jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hisao looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Chan! Chan is trying desperately to improve position. Hisao lands a big elbow. Chan really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan wants to control but Hisao is having none of it. Chan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hisao looking to control and managing it successfully. Chan is looking to improve his position but Hisao isn't that keen on the idea. Chan flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Jakie Chan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Chan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
