0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ian Baer! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clegane swats away the attempt to clinch by Baer. Clegane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Baer.
Both fighters circling a little - Baer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Clegane closes the distance and clinches. Clegane working some nice short punches in the clinch. Clegane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Baer can't get the takedown.
Clegane scores with an uppercut up the middle. Baer stalling in the clinch but Clegane improves position. Baer misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Clegane.

Baer has had enough of the clinch but Clegane keeps him there for the moment. Baer is trying to break free. Clegane tightens his grip and picks Baer up, before dumping him to the ground. Baer manages to land in guard. Baer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Clegane in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Clegane lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Baer tries to clinch there but Clegane circles away.
Clegane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Clegane throws a series of punches but Baer moves out of range. Clegane is breathing heavily. Baer keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clegane. Baer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Baer wants to control from the top but Clegane keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Despite being in the dominant position, Ian Baer just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Baer shoots in and drives through. Clegane sprawls well. Sandor Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Baer. Baer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Nice uppercut lands for Clegane. That snapped Baer's head back.

Baer stalling in the clinch but Clegane improves position. Clegane has picked Baer up - he's going for a ride! Clegane dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Baer tries to roll over but Clegane keeps him under control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Clegane is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Baer is just riding it out for now. Clegane eventually gives up the hold. Baer wants to get back to his feet.

Baer holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sandor Clegane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Clegane lands a jab to the nose. Baer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice takedown defense from Clegane. No joy for Baer on that attempt. Sandor Clegane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ian Baer. Baer dodges the punch combination from Clegane.

Baer tries to clinch up and Clegane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Baer fails in his attempt to clinch. Clegane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Clegane lands with a nice combination. Baer backs away looking to recover. Baer lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Clegane closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Baer! Clegane dives in looking to finish! Baer is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
