Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Ledfoot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flash Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon loads up on a big right hand but Ledfoot slips the punch.
Ledfoot avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ledfoot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gordon.
Gordon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ledfoot shoots for a double leg takedown but Gordon sprawls well. He's pushed Ledfoot's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gordon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gordon.
It looks like Joe Ledfoot has been cut.
Ledfoot fails with a takedown attempt.
Ledfoot misses with a head kick.
Gordon tries to close the distance and clinch but Ledfoot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ledfoot slips a straight right by Gordon.
Ledfoot shoots in but Gordon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Ledfoot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ledfoot ducks under a wild hook from Gordon.

Gordon leaves Ledfoot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Gordon throws a head kick that misses.
Ledfoot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gordon defends it nicely.
Gordon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gordon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ledfoot circles away quickly and effectively.

Gordon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Ledfoot fails with the takedown.
Ledfoot uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gordon.
Ledfoot shoots in but no luck this time.
Gordon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A bone on bone clash there as Ledfoot blocks the leg kick.
Gordon lands a nice looking body shot.
Gordon tries to clinch but Ledfoot is having none of it.
Flash Gordon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gordon doesn't manage to clinch there - Ledfoot circles away.

Ledfoot drops his hands momentarily and Gordon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ledfoot on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Gordon cracks Ledfoot with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Gordon has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ledfoot to stand back up!
Ledfoot is rocked!
Joe Ledfoot's cut is getting worse.
Ledfoot ducks under a wild hook from Gordon.
Oh Ledfoot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ledfoot shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Ledfoot seems to have got his legs back now.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ledfoot tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gordon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gordon pushes Ledfoot off and gets back to his feet.
Gordon scores with a nice right hand.
Gordon misses with an uppercut.
Gordon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Gordon throws a sloppy head kick and Ledfoot moves out of range easily.
Gordon stuffs the takedown attempt from Ledfoot. Ledfoot gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gordon tries to clinch up but Ledfoot circles away and keeps his distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Ledfoot feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ledfoot looking to sit in guard and control but Gordon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Ledfoot thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Gordon won't allow Ledfoot to sweep him here.
Gordon is looking to stand up but Ledfoot won't let him.
Ledfoot throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Gordon escapes and throws Ledfoot's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Gordon decides to stand back up.
Gordon tries to clinch but Ledfoot moves out of range.
Gordon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ledfoot looks for a takedown but Gordon sprawls well.
Ledfoot shoots in looking for a takedown. Gordon tries to sprawl out of it but Ledfoot keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gordon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gordon is looking to slow Ledfoot down with leg kicks.
Gordon throws out a loose jab but Ledfoot uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ledfoot closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Nice uppercut there from Ledfoot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gordon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gordon misses with a body shot.
Ledfoot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gordon avoids it really well and circles away.

Ledfoot shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ledfoot gets slowly back to his feet.

Ledfoot closes the distance and clinches up with Gordon, looking for a takedown. Ledfoot pushes Gordon against the cage but Gordon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gordon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gordon wants it to stay on the feet.
Ledfoot connects with a right hand. Gordon shakes it off.
Gordon throws a shot from downtown. Ledfoot moves away and avoids it.

Flash Gordon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Joe Ledfoot is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gordon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Joe Ledfoot's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Gordon cracks Ledfoot with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ledfoot looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gordon finish him?

Gordon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ledfoot.
Ledfoot chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gordon can pounce on him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
A cross from Gordon lands.
Ledfoot moves out of range of the strikes.
Gordon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ledfoot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gordon is fending him off so far but Ledfoot persists. Nope, Gordon circles away and we're back to standing.
Gordon lands with a shot to the body.
Gordon scoring well with a low kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ledfoot dives in and grabs Gordon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gordon pushes down on Ledfoot's head and hops out.

Ledfoot bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gordon drops Ledfoot with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ledfoot looks back up at him and smiles so Gordon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jeez, Joe Ledfoot's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joe Ledfoot's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
