Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Price comes to the cage accompanied by O Fortuna by Carl Orff. Shane Steve has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Steve! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Steve's head backwards. Price looks to land a combination but Steve avoids it well. Price scores with a takedown into Steve's guard. Price has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Steve looking to control.
Steve might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Price kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Steve is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Price is refusing to be controlled, as Steve sits in half guard. Price wants to improve his position but Steve is controlling well.

Despite being in the dominant position, Shane Steve just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Steve looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Steve decides to pull guard. Steve is trying to control the position but Price postures up. Price wants to control from the top but Steve keeps moving. Steve is trying to keep Price in close.
Steve thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Steve is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Price is controlling him. Steve pushes Price off and gets back to his feet.

Price tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Steve just stands there and leans against the cage. Steve gets control of Price's arms and successfully pulls guard. Steve will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Price tries to free his leg and advance position but Steve is retaining full guard. Price knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Steve on the ground. Steve is trying to control the position but Price postures up. Price trying to move into half guard but instead Steve has managed to sweep! Price seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Price looking to control but Steve passes into half guard.

Steve thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Steve passes to full mount! Steve looking to control but Price is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Shane Steve showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Steve misses with a takedown and Price counters with a shoot takedown. Steve fights it but they end up in guard. Steve controls Price momentarily but Price frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Steve keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully. Price is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Steve is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Steve has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Price doesn't defend quickly enough and Steve has managed to lock this one up! Can Price escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Steve on a fantastic submission victory.
