Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Hazzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buddy Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazzard kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hell's Bells. On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Hazzard has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Hazzard seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazzard lands a big head kick that sends Austin tumbling to the mat! Hazzard takes a step backwards and waves Austin back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Buddy Austin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Austin is defended easily by Hazzard.
Austin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Austin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jack Hazzard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buddy Austin.
Austin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hazzard wants to get back to his feet but Austin drags him back down.
Austin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hazzard throws Austin to one side and escapes!
Austin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hazzard leaves Austin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hazzard tries to close the distance and clinch but Austin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hazzard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Austin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hazzard was covering up waiting for the punch and Austin finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Austin drops back looking for a leg! Hazzard is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hazzard manages to kick Austin off! Austin jumps back into Hazzard's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Austin drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hazzard dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hazzard gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hazzard shoots and misses
and Austin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Austin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Austin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Austin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hazzard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hazzard wants to get back to his feet but Austin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Austin trying to control the position from guard on top but Hazzard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hazzard wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Austin manages to pass to side control.
Austin in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hazzard tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Austin!
