Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motown shoots in and drives through. Villa sprawls well.
Motown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Villa to the mat! Villa manages to get full guard.
Motown drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Villa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Motown has Villa in his guard.
Villa trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Motown looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Villa passes into side control.
Villa wants to stand but Motown has his arm trapped.
Villa just content to control the position.
Motown tries to buck Villa off but Villa is having none of it.

Motown is looking to regain half guard here but Villa keeps moving and retains side control.

Motown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Villa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Motown, into his guard.

Motown keeping moving, preventing Villa from controlling successfully.
Villa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Motown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Motown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Villa controls the pace.
Villa wants to control from the top but Motown keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Motown tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Villa swivels and escapes.
Villa chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Villa fails with an attempt to clinch.

Motown is working for a submission of some sort.
Motown is breathing heavily.
Motown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Villa is just riding it out for now. Motown eventually gives up the hold.

Motown is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Motown shoots in but Villa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Villa tries to clinch but Motown moves out of range.

Motown is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Villa is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Villa has escaped and now he's on top!
Motown might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Villa stands and steps away. Motown gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Villa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice takedown defense from Villa. No joy for Motown on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cake Motown. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Motown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Villa as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Villa delivers a nice body kick.

Villa tries to clinch but Motown is having none of it.

Villa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Cake Motown has been cut.
Villa moves in looking to clinch but Motown pushes him off.
Villa throws an uppercut from hell that sends Motown clean off his feet! He's out cold! Villa stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
