Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chico Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe has chosen Show Me What You Got as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Doe.
Doe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lao.

Doe kicks Lao off and gets back to his feet.

Lao feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Doe tries to avoid it but Lao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Doe to the ground. Doe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
