Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Reichter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thorfinn Oden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Reichter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thorfinn Oden! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reichter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Oden fails in his attempt to clinch. Oden looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oden stuns Reichter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Oden is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Oden just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab lands there for Oden. Oden shoots in but Reichter avoids the takedown attempt easily. Oden connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Reichter avoids the body shot from Oden.
Oden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reichter moves away. Reichter stuffs the takedown attempt from Oden. Oden gets slowly back to his feet. Reichter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Oden counters with a good low kick that Reichter was not able to check. Oden fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oden shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oden throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Oden trying to control from half guard but Reichter is working away. Reichter could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Oden thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Reichter's head. Oden not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Oden passes the guard and advances to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oden looking to ground and pound but Reichter is blocking nicely. Oden goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Reichter is on top in guard.
Oden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Reichter wants to pass the guard but Oden is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Reichter stopping the sweep attempt from Oden. Reichter sitting in guard here, content to control. Reichter is breathing heavily. Oden looking to control.
Oden throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Reichter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Reichter tries to free his leg and advance position but Oden is retaining full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Reichter stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Oden. Oden closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Oden tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Reichter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Reichter taking punishment in the form of punches.
Reichter parries the strikes from Oden easily there. Oden is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Reichter to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. An elbow from Oden crashes against the mat.
Oden tries to advance to mount but Reichter denies him. Oden working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Oden tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Oden has hold of Reichter's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Reichter seems comfortable defending it but Oden has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Reichter is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Reichter is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Oden couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Thorfinn Oden!
