8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rivero! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rivero clinches. Bain has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bain takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Stephen Bain has been cut. Rivero lands an elbow that stopped Bain in his tracks for a moment. Rivero comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Rivero lands an elbow inside that Bain shrugs off. Bain is breathing heavily. Rivero creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bain's defenses. Rivero comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Stephen Bain's cut is getting worse. Rivero has Bain pressed against the cage. He pushes Bain back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Rivero throws a beautiful elbow that sends Bain crashing to the floor! Rivero piles on the pressure with more strikes! Bain is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
