The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guti slips a jab and a cross from Ramirez.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guti napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ramirez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Guti down.
You can see the frustration on Guti's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ramirez scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Guti to see if he's OK.
Guti is trying to control Ramirez's posture but Ramirez avoids it.
Guti is looking to regain half guard here but Ramirez keeps moving and retains side control.
Guti tries to escape but Ramirez is in control.
Ramirez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guti has escaped the position, nice work there.
Ramirez stands up.
Guti is breathing heavily.
Ramirez scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ramirez cracks Guti with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ramirez has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Guti to stand back up!
It looks like LA Guti has been cut.
Ramirez throws a monster overhand right that drops Guti! Ramirez follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serg Ramirez!
