Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evil Kordoch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kula has chosen Black Label Society - Counterfeit God as his entrance music. Kalle Kula is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evil Kordoch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kalle Kula! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kordoch moves into the clinch. Kordoch goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kula prevents it.
Kula is trying to break free. Kula tries for a takedown but Kordoch manages to get underhooks.
Kordoch has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kula clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kordoch doesn't have the hooks in and Kula manages to turn into his guard.
Kordoch tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kordoch working for a triangle but Kula defends it easily.
Kordoch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kula landing with the ground and pound. Kordoch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kula on the ground. Kula postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kula working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kula has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kordoch keeping moving, preventing Kula from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Kula shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A nice combination there by Kula.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kordoch. Kordoch is breathing heavily. Kula gets back to half guard. Kordoch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kula trying to control here.
Kordoch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kula does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kula trying to control but Kordoch postures up.
Kula is doing well to control the position and prevent Kordoch from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kordoch wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kula keeps working. Kula tries to get to full guard but Kordoch has control of the leg. Kordoch trying to control the action but Kula is working from the bottom. Kula is trying to control but can't.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Kordoch lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kula drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kula wants to control from the top but Kordoch keeps moving. Kordoch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kordoch is looking for a triangle but Kula pushes his legs off easily.

Kula should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kordoch is trying to keep Kula in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kordoch circles away from the clinch attempt and Kordoch counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Kula is working for takedown but Kordoch is calmly controlling the position for now. Evil Kordoch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalle Kula. Kordoch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kordoch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kula is not content to let Kordoch control the position. Kula prevents Kordoch from improving position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kula is looking to get back to his feet here but Kordoch is keeping cool and he's managed to take Kula's back. Kordoch lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Kula hold on?!
The referee is taking a good look at Kula as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kordoch!
Kordoch has the hooks in. Kula is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Kordoch lands a shot to the body. Kordoch controls the position. Kordoch lands a shot to the body. Kordoch lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Kordoch is controlling the position but Kula somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Evil Kordoch dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Kordoch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kordoch. Kordoch drives through and clinches with Kula against the cage.
Kula can't break the clinch.
Kordoch keeps control of Kula as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kula breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kula tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kordoch swivels and escapes. Kordoch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kordoch scoring with punches and elbows. Kula manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kordoch's best efforts. Kordoch blocks the strikes from Kula.
Kordoch is thwarting Kula's attempts to control the position. Kula is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Kula is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kula works his way to full guard. Good work. Kula has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kordoch off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Kula wants to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kula shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kordoch as he jumps to the side. Kordoch scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Kordoch trying to control the position but Kula is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kordoch controlling the position. Kordoch stands up. Kordoch scores a takedown into full mount! Kordoch sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kula is desperately trying to improve his position but Kordoch has a good base and remains in mount. Kordoch landing punches. Kula slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kula has one foot on Kordoch's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Kordoch gets a takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Kordoch trying to control from Kula's half guard. Kula has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Kula looking for a sweep. Not yet Kula, not yet. Kordoch wants to pass the guard but Kula is keeping the position. Kula bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kordoch's guard. Kula connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kordoch controls Kula momentarily but Kula frees himself. Kula chips away with some ground and pound. Kordoch trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kordoch has an active guard here but Kula has managed to pass into half guard.
Kordoch keeping control of the position. Kula is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kula not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kula is working for a kimura but Kordoch is defending it quite comfortably.
Kordoch wants to control but Kula is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kula stands up out of the half guard. Kordoch has managed to clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Kula.
Kordoch is trying to break free. Kula successfully pulls guard.
Kordoch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kula swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kula lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kordoch! Kula fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A nice elbow there by Kula. Kordoch tries to hold on but Kula postures up. Kula landing strikes from the mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kalle Kula will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Kordoch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Kula pushes Kordoch up against the cage in a clinch. Kordoch goes for a takedown attempt but Kula pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kalle Kula seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kordoch swats away the attempt to clinch by Kula. Nice takedown defense from Kordoch. No joy for Kula on that attempt. Kordoch shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kordoch looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kordoch wants to control from the top but Kula keeps moving. Kordoch wants to pass the guard but Kula is keeping the position. Kordoch trying to control the position from guard on top but Kula is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kula wants to sweep here but Kordoch controlling him for the moment.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kordoch holds on and takes a little breather. Kula wants to control from the top but Kordoch keeps moving. Kordoch avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kalle Kula has got the better of the ground game so far. Kula trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kordoch bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kula's guard. Kula has a closed guard, preventing Kordoch from standing up. Kordoch preventing the sweep. Kordoch is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kula looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kula keeping moving, preventing Kordoch from controlling successfully. Kordoch slips nicely into half guard. Kordoch missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kordoch stalling. Kula trying to hold on to Kordoch's head to control him but Kordoch postures up.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kalle Kula. I think Kula has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
