Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wiley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smith Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wesson's choice of entrance music: Cryin like a Bitch. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Wesson has hold of Wiley's hands but Wiley slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wiley winds up and cracks Wesson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wiley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Wiley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wesson is looking for a sweep. Wiley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wesson lands a really nice looking cross but Wiley seems unphased.

Wiley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wiley lands in his opponent's guard.

Wiley winds up and cracks Wesson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Wesson tries to roll over but Wiley keeps him under control.

Wiley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Wesson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Wesson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Wiley wants to control from the top but Wesson keeps moving.
Wesson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wiley manages to get himself to full guard.
Wesson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wiley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wesson has Wiley in his guard.
Wiley distracts Wesson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
And that's the end of the fight!
Mark Wiley showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Wiley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
