Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Wilcox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Queens of the Stone Age - Goin Out West. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones punishes Wilcox's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jones tests Wilcox's chin there with a solid looking shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones works the jab nicely.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
Jones misses with a looping left.

Jones cracks Wilcox with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Jones has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wilcox to stand back up!
Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wilcox avoids it really well and circles away.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones throws a series of punches but Wilcox moves out of range.
A combination from Jones does no damage.
Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Wilcox's shoulder, as Wilcox tries to avoid the shot.

Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilcox fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wilcox thows a body shot but no joy.
Jones tries for a takedown but Wilcox circles away easily

and Wilcox counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jones looks gassed!
Wilcox tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Wilcox trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Wilcox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wilcox is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jones wants to stand and escape but Wilcox is having none of it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Jones throws a right and a left that Wilcox avoids nicely.
Jones takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilcox misses the shot to the body.

Wilcox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wilcox moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that!
Wilcox tries to control but Jones wriggling away.

Jones is trying to escape the mount.

Jones is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Wilcox locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Jones is forced to tap!
