Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Dada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corey Stevenson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Dada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dada throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Stevenson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dada regains half guard. Stevenson prevents Dada from improving his position. Dada avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stevenson. Dada regains full guard. Nicely done. Stevenson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dada, up you get! Stevenson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stevenson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dada looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Stevenson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dada, who protects the arm well. Dada is looking to reverse the position.

Stevenson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dada has escaped the position, nice work there. Stevenson works to advance to full mount. Dada defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Stevenson wants to finish this one by submission but Dada is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stevenson. Stevenson looks gassed! Dada is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Stevenson tries to control but Dada wriggling away. Dada is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevenson avoids the attempt from Dada to control. Dada takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Dada wants to hold on but Stevenson pushes him away. Stevenson has control of Dada's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dada regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Stevenson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Dada is on top in guard.
Stevenson looking for subs off his back but Dada has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevenson works his way to full guard. Good work. Dada trying to control the position from guard on top but Stevenson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stevenson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dada doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dada manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stevenson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dada. Stevenson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dada throwing strikes from guard but Stevenson blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dada passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dada tries for a kimura but Stevenson is defending well. Dada working away. Stevenson pushes Dada away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dada gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Stevenson is not content to let Dada control the position. Dada tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Stevenson sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stevenson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dada manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dada is on top in guard.
Dada loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dada wanted to stand there but Stevenson had control of the position. Corey Stevenson has got the better of the ground game so far. Stevenson keeping moving, preventing Dada from controlling successfully. Stevenson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dada is one step ahead there. Stevenson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Dada working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dada throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Stevenson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Dada stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Stevenson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Don Dada is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stevenson's waist but Stevenson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dada off to one side. Dada throws a half hearted mid kick. Dada is looking to clinch but Stevenson is avoiding it.
Dada lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Stevenson circles away quickly and effectively. Stevenson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dada's half guard. Stevenson throwing shots but Dada is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevenson trying to pass the guard but Dada defending well. Dada looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dada is trying to stand back up but Stevenson is controlling him
Dada tries to kick Stevenson off in order to stand up. Stevenson Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Stevenson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dada is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dada is not content to let Stevenson control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevenson is trying to get an arm triangle but Dada is defending well. Dada is looking for a sweep. Stevenson misses with the ground and pound. Dada gets back to half guard. Stevenson stands up from half guard. Jab by Dada.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dada throws a head kick that half lands.
Stevenson misses with a takedown attempt and Dada counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Dada throws an elbow that misses.
Dada can't find room to land a body shot as Stevenson controls the action.

Dada looking to throw knees to the head but Stevenson is blocking nicely.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Dada. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dada wants to get back to striking at distance but Stevenson won't allow it.

Dada tries to free his leg and advance position but Stevenson is retaining full guard. Dada is looking to work some ground and pound but Stevenson has wrist control. Stevenson controls Dada momentarily but Dada frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Corey Stevenson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dada tries to close the distance and clinch but Stevenson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Dada tries to clinch but Stevenson is having none of it. Dada throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dada lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Stevenson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Stevenson is looking to advance position but Dada won't allow it. Stevenson seems to be looking for submissions.
Dada is looking for a sweep. Stevenson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dada tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Stevenson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stevenson not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Stevenson tries to clinch but Dada moves out of range. Dada really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dada throws a head kick but Stevenson moves out of range.
Stevenson shoots in and drives through. Dada sprawls well. Don Dada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Corey Stevenson. Dada fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dada throws a right and a left that Stevenson avoids nicely. Dada tries to clinch but Stevenson moves out of range. Stevenson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dada as he jumps to the side. Dada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stevenson defends it nicely. Dada cracks Stevenson with an open hand slap.

Dada is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Stevenson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Dada tries to pull guard but Stevenson holds him up against the cage and eventually Dada drops back down to his feet.
Dada is fighting off a takedown attempt but Stevenson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dada to the mat. Dada regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dada wants to stand but Stevenson is controlling the position. Dada looking to control.
Stevenson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Stevenson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevenson pushes down on Dada's leg and manages to get into half guard. Stevenson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Dada. I think Stevenson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
