Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ted Bundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jark Reepal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jark Reepal will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ted Bundy!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jark Reepal!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reepal clobbers Bundy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Reepal tries to bum rush Bundy with a series of wild strikes but Bundy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bundy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Reepal.
Bundy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Reepal moves away.
Reepal throws the kick towards the body but Bundy avoids it.
Reepal throws a right hand that Bundy ducks under and follows up with a left that Bundy also avoids with ease.
Good leg kick by Reepal there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Bundy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Reepal is in all sorts of trouble here.

Reepal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bundy asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Reepal takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bundy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bundy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Reepal is pushing Bundy's head away, looking to escape. Bundy manages to hold on to the position though.
Reepal is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Bundy's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Bundy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reepal pinned against the cage. Reepal gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bundy connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Reepal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Reepal throws a lazy right hand but Bundy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Ted Bundy will probably get the nod.

Reepal lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Bundy will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but Ted Bundy did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
That's time! Bundy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reepal can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bundy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reepal is just riding it out for now. Bundy eventually gives up the hold.

Bundy has control of Reepal's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Reepal regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Reepal's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bundy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ted Bundy.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bundy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
