Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomer Pyle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeremy Jitsu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gomer Pyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeremy Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jitsu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pyle throws a head kick that misses. Jitsu has Pyle up against the cage in a clinch.
Jitsu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pyle tries to break the clinch but Jitsu is controlling the position. Pyle has had enough of the clinch but Jitsu keeps him there for the moment. Pyle wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jitsu has him pressed against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Jitsu gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Pyle wants to get back to his feet but Jitsu is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jitsu wants to control from the top but Pyle keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jitsu has gone for a leg lock! Pyle slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jitsu's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pyle won't allow Jitsu to sweep him here. Jitsu preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jitsu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pyle is one step ahead there. Jitsu is looking for a triangle but Pyle pushes his legs off easily.
Pyle is looking to work some ground and pound but Jitsu has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jitsu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pyle manages to get himself to full guard.
Jitsu thows a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jitsu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jitsu prevents Pyle from getting back to his feet. Jitsu trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jitsu controlling from the top position. Jitsu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pyle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pyle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pyle! Pyle working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Pyle is looking to take a break and control but Jitsu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jitsu wants to improve his position but Pyle is controlling well.
Pyle stands up out of the half guard. Gomer Pyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pyle wants to clinch and Jitsu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Pyle is refusing to be controlled, as Jitsu sits in half guard. Jitsu looks gassed! Jitsu wants to work for an arm triangle but Pyle is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jitsu looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Pyle kicks off Jitsu and gets to his feet. Pyle lands a big head kick that sends Jitsu tumbling to the mat! Pyle takes a step backwards and waves Jitsu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jitsu is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice takedown defense from Pyle. No joy for Jitsu on that attempt. Jitsu is still on wobbly legs! Can Pyle finish him? Pyle lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A swing and a miss from Pyle. Jitsu seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pyle throws a right hand that Jitsu ducks under and follows up with a left that Jitsu also avoids with ease. Pyle misses with the combination.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gomer Pyle will probably get the nod. That's time! Pyle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Pyle clinches but Jitsu breaks the clinch and Jitsu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Pyle keeping moving, preventing Jitsu from controlling successfully. Jitsu controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jitsu throwing strikes from guard but Pyle blocks nicely. Jitsu pushing down on Pyle's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jitsu wants to control but Pyle is keeping him busy. Jitsu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pyle sees it coming and defends easily. Jitsu is breathing heavily. Jitsu wants to take a breather but Pyle is having none of it. Jitsu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jitsu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jitsu wants to advance to full mount but Pyle doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pyle wants to get back to his feet but Jitsu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Pyle throws a sloppy head kick and Jitsu counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pyle! Pyle is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jitsu wants to control the pace but Pyle is squirming around nicely. Pyle trying desperately to get to his feet.
Jeremy Jitsu has got the better of the ground game so far. Jitsu goes for an armbar but Pyle turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pyle. Jitsu keeping moving, preventing Pyle from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pyle forces his way into half guard. Pyle is working for a kimura but Jitsu is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pyle uses his free foot to push down on Jitsu's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jitsu. Pyle unloads with some shots from mount but Jitsu bucks and avoids them well.

Jeremy Jitsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Pyle darts in trying to clinch and Jitsu counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jitsu trying to pass the guard but Pyle defending well. Jitsu works his foot free and advances to mount. Pyle defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Jitsu. Pyle has given up his back. Will we see Jitsu going for some submissions?
Jitsu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pyle prevents Jitsu from getting a body triangle. Pyle is trying to get back to his feet but Jitsu has full control of the position and if anything, Pyle has just worked his way into a worse spot. Jitsu tries to keep control of the position but Pyle is staying busy. Jitsu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Pyle is defending well though. Jitsu let's go of the attempt for now. Pyle has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jitsu tightening his grip on Pyle, looking for the choke. Pyle is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jitsu is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pyle knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pyle for a finish. Pyle trying to get back to his feet but Jitsu is in full control for now. Pyle showing good submission defense here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Jitsu trying to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Jeremy Jitsu comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jitsu has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
