Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Gordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eddy Gordo!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gordo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gordo dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Gordo's head and hops out.
Gordo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A head kick misses from Brown.
Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown tries to clinch there but Gordo circles away.
A nice combination there by Brown.
Gordo rushes Brown and presses him up against the cage.
Brown wants to break free but Gordo has control.
Brown ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brown no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gordo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Brown wants to stand but Gordo is controlling the position.
Brown pulls Gordo in close to prevent any damage.
Gordo wants to get up but he can't break Brown's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A head kick by Brown misses
and Gordo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Brown jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gordo walks away with a smile on his face. Brown gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gordo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Gordo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gordo wants to clinch
and Brown counters with a series of strikes. Gordo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Brown throws a head kick but Gordo moves out of range.

Gordo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eddy Gordo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gordo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Brown counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Jackson Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Gordo.
Brown slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Gordo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Brown manages to get himself to full guard.

so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gordo wants to stand and escape but Brown is having none of it.

Brown drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gordo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brown has Gordo in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gordo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brown has his feet on Gordo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Jackson Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Brown tries to clinch but Gordo is having none of it.

and Gordo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard.

and Gordo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gordo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gordo prevents Brown from standing back up.
Gordo is taking a breather. Brown says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Gordo wants to free his trapped foot but Brown is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gordo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Brown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gordo.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddy Gordo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Gordo moves forwards but Brown connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brown throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

and Brown counters with a head kick. That will keep Gordo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gordo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Brown.
Gordo tries to stall but Brown uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gordo throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Gordo gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brown regains guard.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gordo is controlling him.

Gordo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Gordo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gordo throws a leg kick that is checked
and Brown holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Gordo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gordo closes the distance but Brown moves to the side
letting Brown counter with a right hand.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jackson Brown.
I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
