Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Midgard is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Midgard just misses with a punch to the body.
Acton shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Midgard as he avoids it easily.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Acton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Acton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Midgard is controlling an arm, preventing Acton from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Acton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Midgard can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Acton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Acton throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Midgard has his hands clasped together but Acton breaks the hold and Midgard is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Acton!
