The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sabrol shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sabrol was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Sabrol stalling away here and it's allowed Hamster to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Sabrol seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Hamster closes the distance and clinches.
Hamster blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hamster keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sabrol's efforts to push away.

Sabrol has Hamster pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sabrol pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hamster tumbling to the mat - Sabrol dives into Hamster's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sabrol takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sabrol wants to take a breather but Hamster is having none of it.
Sabrol frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hamster lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Sabrol to his knees! Hamster keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
