Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Brusko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kooneman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Brusko as Kooneman shoots in. Kooneman throws a hook to the side of Brusko's head but Brusko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kooneman scoring well with a low kick there.
Brusko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Brusko passes to full mount! Brusko jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kooneman manages to avoid the submission attempt. Brusko is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kooneman has escaped the position, nice work there. Brusko working away. Brusko working the ground and pound. Brusko looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kooneman struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brusko tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Brusko works to advance to full mount. Kooneman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Brusko goes for an armbar but Kooneman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kooneman. Brusko is breathing heavily. Brusko looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kooneman passes into half guard.
Brusko wants to sweep but Kooneman has passed to side control! Brusko tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kooneman is looking to take a break and control but Brusko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brusko gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brusko looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kooneman trying to control from half guard but Brusko is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brusko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kooneman is working away from the top position though. Brusko actively working from the bottom here. Brusko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brusko manages to get to full guard.

Kooneman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brusko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Brusko is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kooneman's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Brusko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Brusko. Brusko wants to sweep here but Kooneman controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brusko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kooneman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Brusko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kooneman's back instead. Brusko patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brusko is looking for the choke from the back position but Kooneman is controlling his hands well. Brusko keeps control of the position as Kooneman tries to break free.
Brusko is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Kooneman won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Brusko off his unconscious opponent!
