Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Katana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Budgell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Katana might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Baby got back. Budgell is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Im to sexy!!!!. Adam Budgell will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Katana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Adam Budgell! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Budgell or perhaps it was just good defense by Katana which made him look bad. Budgell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Katana but Katana pushes him off and we're back to square one. Budgell dives in and grabs Katana's left leg, looking for a takedown. Katana pushes down on Budgell's head and hops out. James Katana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Budgell. Budgell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Katana avoids it really well and circles away. Budgell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Katana tries to avoid it but Budgell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Katana to the ground. Katana escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Budgell looks gassed! Budgell shoots in but Katana avoids the takedown attempt easily. A jab from Katana does it's job there. Budgell looks for a takedown but Katana sprawls well. Katana throws a sloppy head kick and Budgell moves out of range easily. Katana cracks Budgell with a right hand to the side of the head. Katana connects with a single shot there. Budgell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Katana works over Budgell's head and body with a nice combination. Budgell avoids the head kick by Katana.
Budgell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Katana scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Budgell takes one to the chin there. Katana lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Katana with a nice cross. Nice straight punches there by Katana. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Katana. Budgell shoots in and drives through. Katana sprawls well. Katana rushes Budgell and presses him up against the cage. Katana wants to break the clinch but can't.
Katana working hard to break the clinch. Katana is trying to break the clinch but Budgell is controlling him. Katana works on Budgell's body with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Budgell gets underhooks to prevent Katana's takedown attempt.
Budgell prevents Katana from breaking the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Katana's face as he tries to break the clinch. Katana breaks the clinch.
Budgell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Katana swivels and escapes. A cross from Katana lands. Budgell shoots in looking for a takedown. Katana tries to sprawl out of it but Budgell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Katana manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Katana connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Budgell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Budgell has a takedown stuffed. Katana scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Budgell fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Budgell shoots in for a double leg but Katana sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A decent looking cross lands there for Katana. Katana moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Budgell walks into a stiff left hand from Katana.
Budgell is rocked! Budgell seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Katana shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Budgell is backing up but Katana catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Budgell covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Katana Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Katana!
