Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tony Smiff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yonaz Obsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smiff comes to the cage accompanied by New born. Obsen has chosen Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Smiff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Yonaz Obsen! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Obsen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Smiff avoids it really well and circles away. Obsen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Obsen is looking for a kimura here.
Obsen is looking to pass Smiff's guard but actually Smiff recovers to full guard. Obsen wants to pass the guard but Smiff is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obsen is looking to advance position but Smiff has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Obsen is trying desperately to improve position. Obsen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Smiff knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Obsen on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Smiff controlling from mount. Obsen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Obsen looks gassed! Obsen wants to control but Smiff is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obsen is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are battling for position here. Obsen manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Smiff sitting in guard, not really doing much. Obsen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Obsen working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yonaz Obsen dominated that round. That's time! Smiff's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Obsen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Smiff defends it nicely. Obsen connects with a right hand. Smiff shakes it off. Smiff misses with a wild body shot. Obsen on the wrong end of a nice jab. Smiff throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Smiff ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Obsen moves away. Tony Smiff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Obsen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smiff is fending him off so far but Obsen persists. Nope, Smiff circles away and we're back to standing. Smiff throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Smiff tries to clinch but Obsen is having none of it. Smiff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Obsen shoots in looking for a takedown. Smiff tries to sprawl out of it but Obsen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smiff manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tony Smiff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yonaz Obsen. Smiff tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Obsen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Smiff tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Obsen on the wrong end of a nice hook. Obsen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smiff connects with a good right hand that stumbles Obsen. Obsen circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Obsen dodges the punch combination from Smiff.
Smiff misses with a head kick.
Obsen gets a takedown into half guard. Obsen is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Obsen has gone for a leg lock! Smiff slips out almost immediately though and dives into Obsen's guard. Smiff is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smiff tries to stand but Obsen is controlling from the bottom. Obsen is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Obsen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smiff is one step ahead there. Obsen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obsen looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smiff will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Obsen has his foot on Smiff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smiff works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Obsen is trying to hold Smiff in close to prevent damage but Smiff has managed to pass into half guard.
Smiff prevents Obsen from improving his position. Obsen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smiff got a little sloppy there for a moment and Obsen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smiff has managed to get both his arms back between Obsen's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Smiff will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Smiff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Obsen manages to avoid it. Smiff throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Obsen tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smiff sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Obsen somewhat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Obsen. Horrible takedown by Obsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Smiff which made him look bad. Tony Smiff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yonaz Obsen. Obsen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Obsen ducks right into an uppercut from Smiff. Smiff has Obsen up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smiff lands a knee to the head.

Obsen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Smiff just stands there and leans against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Obsen managing to block the knees to the body from Smiff.
Smiff crunches a lovely knee into Obsen's ribcage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obsen is working for takedown but Smiff is calmly controlling the position for now. Smiff tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Obsen avoids it. Smiff landing knees to the body.

Smiff misses with a straight right. Tony Smiff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obsen shoots for a double leg takedown but Smiff sprawls well. He's pushed Obsen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Smiff is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Obsen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smiff looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Obsen trying to control the action but Smiff is working from the bottom. Obsen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smiff is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obsen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smiff has escaped the position, nice work there. Obsen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Obsen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Obsen swings around for an armbar but Smiff sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Obsen's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obsen wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Obsen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Smiff stacks Obsen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Smiff! Obsen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Smiff's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Obsen manages to get to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Obsen is on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Yonaz Obsen. I think Obsen has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
