The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Belfort avoids it really well and circles away.

Rampage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Belfort's waist but Belfort gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rampage off to one side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Belfort throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rampage stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Belfort catches Rampage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rampage throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Belfort was covering up waiting for the punch and Rampage finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Belfort is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
