Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenichi Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Silviera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenichi Yamamoto could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Leandro Silviera's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenichi Yamamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leandro Silviera! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamoto swats away the attempt to clinch by Silviera. Silviera showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Yamamoto.
Yamamoto has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Yamamoto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Yamamoto misses with a double jab
and Silviera counters with a left to the body. Yamamoto misses with the combination.
Yamamoto clinches up with Silviera and pushes him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Yamamoto's face as he tries to break the clinch. Yamamoto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yamamoto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Silviera is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Yamamoto is defending well for now. Yamamoto breaks from the clinch.
A punch combination from Yamamoto misses. Silviera misses with a takedown attempt - Yamamoto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silviera shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yamamoto pinned against the cage. Yamamoto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Yamamoto throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silviera. Kenichi Yamamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Silviera. Silviera closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yamamoto circles away. Yamamoto pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Silviera shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Yamamoto defends it nicely. Yamamoto misses with a series of wild punches.
Kenichi Yamamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yamamoto changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto drives through and clinches with Silviera against the cage.
Yamamoto tries to circle away but Silviera has him pinned against the cage. Yamamoto prevents Silviera from breaking the clinch. Silviera prevents Yamamoto from breaking the clinch. Yamamoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silviera is defended easily by Yamamoto. Yamamoto misses with a double jab
and Silviera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Yamamoto! Yamamoto is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Silviera won't let Yamamoto get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto wants to control but Silviera is having none of it. Silviera wants to control the pace but Yamamoto is squirming around nicely. Yamamoto is trying to stand up. Silviera with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Silviera looks gassed! Silviera working for a submission but Yamamoto is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Silviera can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yamamoto is looking to escape. Yamamoto tries to lock up and control but Silviera gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leandro Silviera dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Yamamoto tries to bum rush Silviera with a series of wild strikes but Silviera uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Silviera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Yamamoto misses with a jab, cross combination.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. and Silviera counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Yamamoto's guard now. Silviera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Yamamoto is controlling Silviera's posture. Silviera drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yamamoto dives on top into guard. Silviera is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yamamoto defends well. Silviera is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silviera looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silviera keeping moving, preventing Yamamoto from controlling successfully. Yamamoto postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Yamamoto lands a couple of elbows. Yamamoto scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Yamamoto cracks Silviera with a solid left hand. Yamamoto wants to get up but he can't break Silviera's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Silviera is working an open guard so Yamamoto takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Yamamoto misses with a double jab
and Silviera counters with a takedown into side control. Silviera is looking to take a break and control but Yamamoto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Yamamoto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamamoto tries to improve position but can't. Leandro Silviera has got the better of the ground game so far. Yamamoto manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Silviera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yamamoto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yamamoto looks like he's trying to stand up.
Silviera stands up from half guard. Yamamoto lands a left and a right that send Silviera crashing to the mat, dazed. Yamamoto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Silviera is rocked! Yamamoto connects with a superb combination that knocks Silviera out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Yamamoto before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Silviera!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kenichi Yamamoto!
