Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cotter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sparrow stands and steps away. Cotter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Sparrow moves into the clinch.
Cotter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sparrow drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sparrow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Cotter wants to stand but Sparrow is controlling the position.
Sparrow slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Cotter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sparrow on the ground.
Sparrow is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Sparrow controlling from the top position.
Cotter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sparrow is controlling him.

Sparrow pushing down on Cotter's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Sparrow looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Cotter on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cotter tries to get out of the position.
Sparrow stands up and beckons Cotter to join him on the feet.
Sparrow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Sparrow is taking a breather. Cotter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Sparrow stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Cotter to get to his feet.
Sparrow throws a combination. Cotter tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Sparrow clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sparrow pulls guard successfully.
Cotter is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sparrow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cotter is looking to defend but Sparrow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cotter! Sparrow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cotter taps out and this one is all over!
