The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

barker drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Perry is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
barker tries to kick Perry off but Perry keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Perry throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Perry slows the pace down in half guard.
Perry prevents barker from improving his position.
barker is looking to get back to full guard here but Perry has managed to pass to side control instead.
Perry has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Perry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

It looks like tanner barker has been cut.
Perry lands a heavy shot. That's hurt barker! Perry sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless barker and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
