Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between buzz cola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sam sarmiento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). buzz cola looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, buzz cola!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, sam sarmiento!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cola will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
cola takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

cola forces sarmiento back against the cage and clinches.

cola's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
cola slips a jab and a cross from sarmiento.
sarmiento scores with a decent looking hook.
sarmiento tries to clinch but cola moves away
and cola counters with a head kick. That will keep sarmiento thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

sarmiento shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
sarmiento is pressing down on cola's thigh, looking to free his foot. cola is holding on for now.
cola tries to kick sarmiento off but sarmiento keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

cola really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
sarmiento tries to hold on but cola postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
