Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taz Fodido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Knocker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Knocker has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fodido misses with a jab, cross combination.
Knocker checks a low kick from Fodido.
Knocker fails to land the takedown.

Fodido shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Knocker has his foot on Fodido's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fodido works his way back into a safe position though.

Fodido can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knocker is looking to escape.
Knocker is desperately trying to improve his position but Fodido has a good base and remains in mount.

Fodido takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fodido jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Knocker is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Knocker and Fodido has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Knocker is trying to control Fodido's posture but Fodido avoids it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fodido decides to stand back up. Fodido steps back and let's Knocker get back to his feet.

Fodido throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Knocker's waist but Knocker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fodido off to one side.

Taz Fodido has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Knocker.

Fodido is really struggling to control Knocker but he's trying to hold on to the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fodido is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Fodido working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Knocker is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Fodido has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Knocker taps out!
