Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between tyler jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Ferrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Ferrell!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jackman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than jackman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ferrell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
jackman looking to control but Ferrell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ferrell tries to lock up and control but jackman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
jackman trying to control but he's not successful this time.
jackman is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ferrell is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
jackman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ferrell looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferrell wants to hold on but jackman pushes him away.

Ferrell is really stuck here.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards jackman.

jackman tries to get the hooks in deep but Ferrell pushed the leg off.
jackman has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ferrell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
jackman is looking for the choke from the back position but Ferrell is controlling his hands well.
Ferrell rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

jackman decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
jackman shoots in but no luck this time.
jackman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ferrell clinches.
Ferrell gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
jackman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
jackman trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Ferrell manages to pass to mount!

jackman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ferrell goes for an armbar but jackman turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from jackman.
jackman wants to pass the guard but Ferrell is keeping the position.
Ferrell looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Ferrell had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. jackman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ferrell Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take jackman's back instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ferrell throws a leg kick that misses.
jackman is looking to clinch but Ferrell is avoiding it.

and Ferrell counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now jackman is on top in guard.
jackman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ferrell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Ferrell with a lazy takedown attempt
and jackman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

jackman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ferrell just stands there and leans against the cage.

Ferrell jumps guard but jackman stands there with Ferrell around his waist. Ferrell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ferrell has jackman pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ferrell pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending jackman tumbling to the mat - Ferrell dives into jackman's guard.

jackman is trying to control the position but Ferrell postures up.
jackman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ferrell defends well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Ferrell misses with a takedown attempt - jackman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ferrell fails with the takedown.
Ferrell lands a head kick!
jackman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than jackman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ferrell tries to lock up and control but jackman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mark Ferrell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferrell tries to stand but his hand is stuck under jackman.

jackman throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Ferrell.

Ferrell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. jackman swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ferrell decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and jackman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Ferrell's guard now.
jackman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ferrell, up you get!
Mark Ferrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
jackman tries to close the distance and clinch but Ferrell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
