Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Thiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svensson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Emeth - Telesis. The crowd seem to be enjoying Thiago's choice of entrance music: I made it. Antonio Thiago has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiago closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Thiago is pressed up against the cage. Svensson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Thiago down to the mat. Thiago avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Svensson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Svensson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Thiago tries to hold on but Svensson postures up.
Thiago working to try and regain half guard.
Svensson looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Thiago wants to control but Svensson is having none of it.
Svensson has hold of Thiago's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Thiago manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Svensson is working for a guillotine from mount but Thiago frees his head quite easily.

Thiago is in all sorts of trouble here.
Svensson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thiago is now in Svensson's guard. A big mistake from Svensson there, giving up the dominant position!
Svensson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thiago gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Svensson has his foot on Thiago's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thiago works his way back into a safe position though.
Svensson is breathing heavily.
Thiago is in close to Svensson's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Svensson keeping moving, preventing Thiago from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Svensson is looking for a triangle but Thiago pushes his legs off easily.

Thiago lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Thiago decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Svensson slaps away a takedown attempt from Thiago, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Svensson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Thiago pinned against the cage. Thiago gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Svensson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Thiago counters with a single leg into guard. Svensson didn't expect that.
Thiago has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Svensson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Thiago is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Svensson pulls down on the head and he's put Thiago to sleep! This one is all over!
