PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Brinkley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is All These Things. Chris Caine could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jesse Brinkley's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine moves forwards but Brinkley connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Brinkley throws a right hand that Caine ducks under and follows up with a left that Caine also avoids with ease.
Caine misses with a straight left.

Caine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brinkley's guard.
Brinkley wants to stand and escape but Caine is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Caine is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Caine wants to stand up but Brinkley has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brinkley is not content to let Caine control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chris Caine will probably get the nod.

Caine looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chris Caine.
I think Caine has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
