Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Pumpsuhlott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pumpsuhlott comes to the cage accompanied by I Want Candy. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pumpsuhlott can't find room to land a body shot as Wilson controls the action.
Nice elbow from Wilson. Wilson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pumpsuhlott feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Pumpsuhlott trying to control but Wilson is working from the bottom. Pumpsuhlott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wilson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Pumpsuhlott avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Pumpsuhlott manages to hold on to the position though. Pumpsuhlott is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wilson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ground and pound from Pumpsuhlott seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wilson struggling a bit here. Pumpsuhlott looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Wilson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Pumpsuhlott postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wilson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pumpsuhlott, into his guard. Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Some wild striking there from Wilson.

Pumpsuhlott shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wilson defends it nicely. Wilson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pumpsuhlott is pressing down on Wilson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wilson trying to control but Pumpsuhlott is working from the bottom. Pumpsuhlott striking off his back but it's not causing Wilson any problems. Pumpsuhlott wants to sweep but no luck. Andrew Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Peter Pumpsuhlott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
