And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
omer moves in looking to clinch but RipponSwaine pushes him off.
omer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
omer fails with a takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for RipponSwaine.
It looks like jabar omer has been cut.
omer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Chris RipponSwaine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of jabar omer.
RipponSwaine uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
omer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has RipponSwaine pinned against the cage. RipponSwaine gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
RipponSwaine scores with a jab. omer acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and omer counters with a shoot takedown. RipponSwaine fights it but they end up in guard.
omer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
omer stands up and waves to RipponSwaine to follow him.

RipponSwaine connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
RipponSwaine lands a jab to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
RipponSwaine throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
RipponSwaine clinches up with omer and pushes him back against the cage.

omer creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through RipponSwaine's defenses.
RipponSwaine has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
RipponSwaine wants to get back to striking at distance but omer won't allow it.
omer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. RipponSwaine just stands there and leans against the cage.
RipponSwaine takes a shot to the head.
RipponSwaine tries to break free but omer pushes him back against the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, omer just misses with a elbow thrown towards RipponSwaine's brow.
RipponSwaine is trying to break the clinch but omer has him pressed against the cage.

RipponSwaine tries to pull guard but omer won't allow it.
omer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
RipponSwaine tries to clinch but omer is having none of it.
omer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than omer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
omer thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

RipponSwaine tries to clinch up
and omer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in RipponSwaine's guard.

omer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
RipponSwaine controls omer momentarily but omer frees himself.
omer stands up from RipponSwaine's guard - omer perhaps looking for a knockout.

omer is looking to land body kicks.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from omer is defended easily by RipponSwaine.
RipponSwaine on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by omer. omer obviously looking to wear him down.
RipponSwaine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
omer throws a left and a right that both miss
and omer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
RipponSwaine fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
omer is breathing heavily.
RipponSwaine avoids the head kick by omer.
RipponSwaine goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That has opened up jabar omer's cut even more.
RipponSwaine clinches but omer breaks the clinch
and omer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for RipponSwaine!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
omer misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but jabar omer will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's time! RipponSwaine's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
RipponSwaine drops omer with a beautiful combination! omer stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - RipponSwaine is looking for the KO!

and RipponSwaine counters with a big right hand! Oh omer is in trouble here! RipponSwaine follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
