Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davi Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yonjiro Fuuma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yonjiro Fuuma will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davi Gracie!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yonjiro Fuuma!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Fuuma is trying to control but can't.
Fuuma is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie trying to mount his opponent but Fuuma defends it.
Fuuma is trying to stand up here but Gracie is controlling him well.
Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fuuma is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie seems to be looking for submissions.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Fuuma is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fuuma can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fuuma is refusing to be controlled, as Gracie sits in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fuuma gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Fuuma keeps moving.
Fuuma wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

Fuuma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fuuma is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Fuuma from controlling successfully.
Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fuuma gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fuuma stands up from Gracie's guard - Fuuma perhaps looking for a knockout.
Fuuma throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
A big right from Fuuma misses.
Nice body kick from Fuuma.
A combination from Fuuma does no damage.
Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Fuuma sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.

Fuuma comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fuuma misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.
Fuuma goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Fuuma rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie takes one to the chin there.
Gracie checks a leg kick nicely.
Fuuma throws a leg kick but Gracie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Gracie avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fuuma sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie is working for a submission of some sort.
Gracie gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yonjiro Fuuma will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gracie closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fuuma to the mat! Fuuma manages to get full guard.
Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fuuma is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fuuma has escaped and now he's on top!
Fuuma avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Fuuma defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Gracie's arms.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie looking to break Fuuma's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Fuuma remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gracie will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Gracie is looking for a choke. Fuuma gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Fuuma manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fuuma doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie is tightening it up a little... Fuuma has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fuuma reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fuuma taps out! nice BJJ there by Gracie!
