Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Parcell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parcell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Baki Hanma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanma shoots in but Parcell avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Parcell has his takedown stuffed
and Hanma counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Parcell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hanma is one step ahead there.
Parcell has his foot on Hanma's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hanma works his way back into a safe position though.
Hanma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parcell swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hanma would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Parcell working for a triangle but Hanma defends it easily.
Hanma tries to free his leg and advance position but Parcell is retaining full guard.

Hanma drops back looking for a leg! Parcell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parcell manages to kick Hanma off! Hanma jumps back into Parcell's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hanma closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hanma lands in his opponent's guard.
Hanma drops back, looking for a kneebar! Parcell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Parcell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Parcell!
Hanma is breathing heavily.
Parcell tries to move to mount but Hanma blocks the move with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hanma pushes Parcell away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Parcell gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hanma tries to bench press Parcell off him but Parcell keeps the position.
Parcell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hanma keeps working.
Parcell tries for a kimura but Hanma is defending well.
Parcell takes a little break here. Hanma wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Hanma sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hanma gets back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Parcell wants to control from the top but Hanma keeps moving.
Hanma looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parcell is one step ahead there.
Hanma isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Parcell stacks Hanma on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Parcell!
You can see the frustration on Hanma's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hanma has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Parcell should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hanma has tightened it up now! Parcell should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
