PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hoppe Krille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaoklai Kenneorsing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krille comes to the cage accompanied by My Territory. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hoppe Krille!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaoklai Kenneorsing!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krille fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kenneorsing misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Krille gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kenneorsing counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Krille looking for a guillotine here but Kenneorsing defends easily.

Krille had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kenneorsing is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Krille Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kenneorsing's back instead.
Krille throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kenneorsing!
Krille controlling well, preventing Kenneorsing from escaping the position.
Kenneorsing really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Krille. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kenneorsing breaks Krille's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Kenneorsing is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Kenneorsing is pushing down on Krille's leg trying to pass to half guard. Krille is fighting to maintain full guard but Kenneorsing has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kenneorsing wants to work for an arm triangle but Krille is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Krille is staying active underneath Kenneorsing, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Krille is trying to maintain the position but Kenneorsing is very close to passing his half guard.

Kenneorsing is looking for a kimura but Krille is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kenneorsing to get the leverage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kenneorsing gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kenneorsing is looking to stand up but Krille isn't so interested in that idea.
Kenneorsing bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Krille's guard.

Krille is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kenneorsing defends well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Krille lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kenneorsing!

Kaoklai Kenneorsing dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kenneorsing can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Krille is looking to escape.

Kenneorsing goes for an armbar but Krille turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Krille.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenneorsing looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Krille puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Kaoklai Kenneorsing showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Krille dives in and grabs Kenneorsing's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kenneorsing pushes down on Krille's head and hops out.

Krille is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Krille has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are battling for position here. Krille manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Krille will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Kenneorsing is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Krille working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenneorsing doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kenneorsing manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kaoklai Kenneorsing comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kenneorsing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
