The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrassler leaves Marcurius with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Wrassler.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Wrassler cracks Marcurius with a big right hand but Marcurius just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Marcurius can do anything to dispel that myth.
Marcurius takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wrassler cracks Marcurius with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Wrassler immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Marcurius is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Wrassler!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). One Wrassler!
