The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buenafe shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Meite napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Meite is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meite dodges the ground and pound from Buenafe.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Meite shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buenafe sprawls well. Buenafe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meite gets slowly back to his feet.
Buenafe swings for the body but Meite moves out of range.
Solomon Meite is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Buenafe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Buenafe shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Meite manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Aze Buenafe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
