Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grimmjow Jaggerrjack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Kausch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaggerrjack's entrance music is Till i Colapse. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Grimmjow Jaggerrjack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Kausch!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Jaggerrjack, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jaggerrjack keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jaggerrjack throws a series of punches but Kausch moves out of range.
Jaggerrjack misses with a takedown
and Kausch counters with a thumping low kick.
Jaggerrjack misses with a double jab.
Kausch misses with a takedown attempt
and Jaggerrjack counters with a series of strikes. Kausch will be more careful next time no doubt.

Jaggerrjack drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kausch is trying to get back to half guard.

Kausch is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Jaggerrjack is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Kausch tries to roll over but Jaggerrjack keeps him under control.

Jaggerrjack thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kausch's head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jaggerrjack wants to free his trapped foot but Kausch is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kausch is trying to control but Jaggerrjack manages to pass to mount!
Jaggerrjack avoids the attempt from Kausch to control.
Kausch is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kausch sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaggerrjack is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kausch sees it coming and defends easily.
Kausch is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jaggerrjack jumps into side control!
Jaggerrjack works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Kausch sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Jaggerrjack is breathing heavily.

Kausch is trying to control but Jaggerrjack manages to pass to mount!
Jaggerrjack looking to control but Kausch is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jaggerrjack avoids the attempt from Kausch to control.
Kausch taking shots to the head.
Kausch wants to control but Jaggerrjack is having none of it.

That's time! Jaggerrjack's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Jaggerrjack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kausch sprawls well initially but Jaggerrjack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jaggerrjack wants to pass to mount but Kausch is defending the position.
Jaggerrjack winds up and cracks Kausch with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Kausch tries to get to full guard but Jaggerrjack has control of the leg.
Jaggerrjack is taking a breather. Kausch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Kausch wants to control but Jaggerrjack is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Kausch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jaggerrjack pulls his head out easily.

Kausch looking for submissions off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kausch shoots and misses

and Jaggerrjack counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kausch's guard now.
Jaggerrjack postures up.

Kausch throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jaggerrjack escapes and throws Kausch's legs to the side, diving into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Kausch tries to bench press Jaggerrjack off him but Jaggerrjack keeps the position.

Jaggerrjack thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Kausch manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kausch seems to be looking for submissions.
Kausch is trying to control the action in half guard but Jaggerrjack is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jaggerrjack wants to control but Kausch is keeping busy.
Kausch seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jaggerrjack does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jaggerrjack gets full guard.
Kausch looking to sit in guard and control but Jaggerrjack gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kausch wants to sweep but no luck.
Jaggerrjack has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kausch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jaggerrjack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Kausch decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Jaggerrjack fails to land with a series of punches.

Kausch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kausch is trying to get an arm triangle but Jaggerrjack is defending well.

Jaggerrjack is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kausch moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Jaggerrjack.
Jaggerrjack pushes Kausch away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kausch gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jaggerrjack is being controlled here.

Jaggerrjack gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Kausch goes for an armbar but Jaggerrjack turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jaggerrjack.
Kausch controls Jaggerrjack momentarily but Jaggerrjack frees himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Grimmjow Jaggerrjack.
Well Jaggerrjack has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
