Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perat Horvat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Sweeney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Perat Horvat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Sweeney!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sweeney manages to avoid it.

Sweeney connects with a right hand. Horvat shakes it off.


It looks like Perat Horvat has been cut.
Horvat tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sweeney seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sweeney connects with a nice short shot to Horvat's temple.

Sweeney winds up and cracks Horvat with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sweeney working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Sweeney not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Sweeney works his foot free and advances to mount.
Horvat tries to reverse the position but Sweeney maintains control.

Sweeney has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sweeney cracks Horvat with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fedor Sweeney dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Perat Horvat's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Sweeney darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Horvat is trying to stand back up but Sweeney is controlling him
Sweeney working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.


Perat Horvat's cut is getting worse.
Sweeney looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Horvat with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sweeney lands with a punch from half guard.
Ground and pound from Sweeney.
Horvat has hold of Sweeney's hands but Sweeney slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Sweeney seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Horvat does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Horvat wants to control but Sweeney is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horvat pushes Sweeney off looking to stand but Sweeney dives back in and keeps control.

Jeez, Perat Horvat's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Perat Horvat's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
