Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Escobar which made him look bad.
Escobar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Williams avoids the body shot from Escobar.
Williams clinches.
Escobar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Escobar wants to clinch
and Williams counters by clinching up.

Escobar jumps guard but Williams stands there with Escobar around his waist. Escobar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Mercules Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Escobar.
Williams tries to land a knee to the head but Escobar blocks with his arms.
Williams breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Williams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Escobar's guard.
Escobar has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Williams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Escobar has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.

Escobar has his feet on Williams's thighs here. He's pushed Williams off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Williams screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
