Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Terry! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terry shoots in for a double leg but Santos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fight stays on the outside here - Terry looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Terry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Santos's half guard. Santos misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Santos is staying active underneath Terry, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Terry controlling the action here. Santos throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Santos missing with punches from the bottom.
Terry looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Terry is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Santos wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Terry tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Terry fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Santos feints and as Terry raises his hands in defense, Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Santos has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Santos is breathing heavily. Santos prevents Terry from getting back to his feet. Santos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Santos checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Terry tries to clinch up but Santos circles away and keeps his distance. Terry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Terry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Terry blocks Santos's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Terry is in the full mount, landing strikes. Terry with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Terry working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Terry is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Santos can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Jake Terry dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Terry lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively. Terry fails with the takedown and Santos decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Terry's guard. Terry is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Santos won't allow Terry to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Terry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. That's one minute gone in the round. Santos wants to stand but Terry has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Terry looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Santos is looking to stand up but Terry won't let him. Santos prevents Terry from getting back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Terry can do anything to dispel that myth.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Terry throws a sloppy head kick and Santos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Terry. Santos leaves Terry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Terry shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos scores with a nice strike. Terry is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Terry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Santos paws at him with a jab and circles away. Santos with a hook. Santos slips a jab from Terry. Santos lands with a straight right. Terry didn't see that one coming. Terry fails with the takedown. Aiden Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Terry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Santos scores with a one two! Terry had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Terry throws a left and a right that both miss
and Terry takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Terry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Santos counters with a nice uppercut. Terry stuffs the takedown attempt from Santos. Santos gets slowly back to his feet. Terry fails with the takedown and Santos counters with a stiff right hand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Terry is defended easily by Santos. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Santos throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
