Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ferrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrera displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rush throws out the jab.
Rush takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Nice defenses there by Ferrera.
Rush throws a nice looking combination but Ferrera bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Rush throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferrera sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Ferrera shoots in looking for a takedown. Rush tries to sprawl out of it but Ferrera keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rush manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rush is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
