Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danilo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Sackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oliveira comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrew Sackson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sackson tries to clinch there but Oliveira circles away.
Sackson blocks a head kick by Oliveira.

Sackson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oliveira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sackson somewhat.

Sackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Oliveira has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Oliveira!

Sackson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Oliveira has picked Sackson up and slammed him! Sackson can't keep hold of the triangle and Oliveira manages to pass to side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sackson is looking for the choke from the back position but Oliveira is controlling his hands well.

Sackson is persistently looking for the submission but Oliveira is defending it well.

Oliveira is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sackson gets his way!

Sackson is trying to stick to Oliveira's back but Oliveira is turning into Sackson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sackson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Oliveira.

Sackson has got one arm under Oliveira's chin. This could be trouble... Oliveira trying to control the other hand but Sackson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Oliveira has tapped out! The fight is over!
