Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angle has chosen TNA Kurt as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Savage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kurt Angle! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Kurt Angle has been cut. Savage stalks Angle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Angle's face. Angle staggers backwards, shaken. Angle tries to score a power double leg takedown but Savage sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Angle somewhat. Savage scores with a jab. Savage scores with a nice strike. Angle fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Savage uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Angle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. This has been an exciting period of action! Angle is looking to take a break and control but Savage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Angle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Savage sees it coming and defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angle seems to be working for a kimura but Savage defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angle looks gassed! Savage trying to hold on to Angle's head to control him but Angle postures up.
Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angle on the ground. Angle is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Savage wants to get back to his feet. Angle wants to pass to mount but Savage is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Savage stuffs the takedown attempt from Angle. Angle gets slowly back to his feet. Randy Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Angle. Angle has a takedown stuffed. Angle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Savage finds it's way round the side to connect with Angle's head. Angle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Angle takes one on the button.
Angle is rocked! Savage lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Randy Savage!
